washington state credit unionAnother state is on the verge of allowing state-chartered credit unions to pay their board members. Washington’s Gov. Jay Inslee is expected to sign the legislation into law on Monday.

The proposed legislation unanimously passed in the state’s House and Senate earlier this year.
