With extensive expertise in FinTech and a proven track record of scaling platforms, Matthews is poised to lead SIGNiX's product strategy and deliver enhanced value to partners and clients.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – April 15, 2024 – SIGNiX, a prominent leader in the secure digital signature and remote online notarization industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Karl Matthews as Chief Product Officer. With over 30 years of experience in B2B and enterprise solutions, including 8 years in B2B FinTech, Matthews brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to continue to drive innovation within SIGNiX's product development efforts.

In his role as Chief Product Officer, Matthews will focus on evaluating opportunities to broaden SIGNiX's leading set of solutions, which include secure digital signature solutions, remote online notarization (RON) services, high assurance identity verification,  and compliance automation tools. By leveraging his extensive background in digital financial asset origination, closing, vaulting, and trading, Matthews aims to expand the value delivered to SIGNiX's partners and their clients in highly regulated industries such as real estate, wealth management, legal, government, and healthcare.

"The opportunity that I saw at SIGNiX to add value to the core e-signature technologies was pretty remarkable," stated Matthews. "As the financial world increasingly digitizes and adopts digital signatures as mainstream, there's a tremendous opportunity to build out complementary solutions around the core portfolio and deliver that value through our partners to their clients."

Throughout his career, Matthews has held C-level and VP-level product roles in mid-sized growth companies, leading product development and steering roadmaps through new technology adoptions. His experience includes scaling platforms during periods of high growth, such as the post-COVID mortgage boom and the mainstream adoption of electronic signatures in financial services.

"Karl's appointment as Chief Product Officer marks a significant milestone for SIGNiX. His deep understanding of the technology landscape within highly regulated industries and proven ability to deliver innovative solutions will be instrumental in furthering our mission to provide seamlessly integrated digital signature and remote online notarization software to our partners and clients,” said Jay Jumper, CEO of SIGNiX. “We are confident that Karl's leadership will accelerate our product development efforts and strengthen our position in the market."

The addition of Karl Matthews as Chief Product Officer follows SIGNiX's recent strategic new hires, including Jesse DeMund as Chief Revenue Officer, Andrew Veliuona as Vice President of Sales, and Kathy Sauser as Solutions Consultant. These hires demonstrate SIGNiX's commitment to building an even stronger leadership team to drive the company's growth and deliver better outcomes to its clients. This commitment to growth and innovation is further exemplified by SIGNiX's recent launch of Compliance Lock, a groundbreaking service designed to help financial institutions and financial services organizations prevent fraud by monitoring and ensuring the authenticity of digital signatures, reinforcing the company's position as a leader in secure and compliant digital signature solutions.
