SIGNiX Appoints Marc Straat as Vice President of EMEA

We are excited to announce the hiring of Marc Straat, who has joined the company as vice president EMEA. Marc will lead SIGNiX’s expansion into this region.

SIGNiX has long been a partner-centric company focused on providing total solutions to software companies looking to add independently verifiable and standards-based electronic signatures to their service offerings. SIGNiX’s focus on partner needs has led to seamless integrations with providers in highly regulated industries with high-value transactions.

Straat joins SIGNiX from Adobe, where he held strategic alliance and partner development roles in various business areas and verticals, as well as Adobe’s EMEA head for PDF document and European electronic signature standards. Prior to Adobe, he was the EMEA director for wireless trust services for VeriSign (now Symantec). Straat earned a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Maastricht University, The Netherlands. He is a Dutch citizen, based in London.

Straat’s selection and experience come as SIGNiX accelerates its growth in parallel with the advent of the European Union’s new legislation for electronic identities and trust services – eIDAS. SIGNiX’s independent e-signature services are well aligned with the European regulation’s principles of compliance, openness and independence.
