Mortgage Originators: Let E-Signatures Retain Their Independence

The term e-signature does little to define the actual technology used to sign transactions online, like mortgage loans. E-signatures can operate in many different ways—and those differences will have an impact on the ultimate security and longevity of signed documents. 

Enter the Independent E-Signature™, or sometimes called a digital signature. It can stand alone without any dependence on a vendor – unlike its less secure counterpoint, the simple, electronic signature.
