MyDoX vs. EnterpriseDoX—Which Product is Right for You?

Here at SIGNiX, we realize that we haven’t been very clear about the differences between MyDoX and EnterpriseDoX in the past. Sure, we have web pages that give descriptions of each product, but a lot of people are still left wondering which of our digital signature products is right for them.

I’m here to clear up some of the confusion and help you better understand what each of our distinct products brings to the table. But before I start telling you how they’re different, let me go over some of the features that all of our digital signature products include.

Mobile Signing^TM

With all of our digital signature products, your customers can sign documents on any device with an Internet connection. That means if they’re on the beach in Miami, they can sign on their iPad. If they’re stranded in an airport terminal, they can sign on their smart phone. If they’re having a game night with their family at home, they can sign on their laptop. You get the picture. No matter which digital signature product you choose, you’ll get our complete Mobile Signing capabilities.

Smart Tracking^TM

It can be really frustrating to have a document lost in the signing process. Using paper and ink signatures, after you send a document out in the mail, you have no way of knowing if it has been signed.

Tracking documents is easy with Smart Tracking by SIGNiX. You can see the status of your documents in real-time, and our system automatically sends out reminder emails to signers if the document gets delayed in the signing process.

Fraud Protection^TM

Your documents will be safe and sound with our suite of Fraud Protection security features. All documents signed with SIGNiX include:

• TotalAudit^TM—Most e-signature companies use audit trails (sometimes also called an audit log) to track the steps of the signature process. The audit trail is a powerful tool that can prove who signed a document and when they signed it. We’ve always taken pride in offering the most detailed audit trail on the market. This feature is included in both MyDoX and EnterpriseDoX at no additional cost.
• Tamper Evidence—All of our digital signature products include a feature called Tamper Evidence. If someone tries to change any part of the document (even something as simple as deleting a space or capitalizing a word) there’s proof that tampering took place.
• Flexible Identity—Anytime you do business online, you need to know who you're doing business with, and digital signatures are no exception. If a signed document is challenged in court, you'll have to prove the signer’s identity. Here at SIGNiX, we offer a variety of user authentication options based on your documents' level of risk.
• Signature History^TM—At SIGNiX, we record a history of what each document looked like at the time it was signed, and we embed that history into the document—we call this Signature History. This can be especially useful in multiple signature and party workflows. If one signer questions the content of a document at the time of signature, afterwards other parties can go back and see exactly how the document looked when that signer signed.

Compliant Signatures

All of SIGNiX’s digital signature products offer completely legal and compliant signatures. Our processes comply with the ESIGN Act, UETA, FINRA/SEC, Digital Signature Standards by National Institute of Standards and Technology, ETSI, CFR21 part 11, SSAE16, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Phew, that was a mouthful! The point is, we offer the most secure and compliant signatures on the market, and all of our products include the same highly secure and compliant digital signatures.

Flex StorageTM

Some businesses don’t want their customers’ sensitive information stored on a third-party server. If that’s how you feel, you’re in luck! We give you the choice to store signed documents on our secure servers, or you can download the documents and store them on your own servers—a feature we call Flex Storage. If you choose to store your documents yourself, we can digitally shred the documents off of our servers according to U.S. Department of Defense standards. Flex Storage comes standard with all of our digital signature products.

MyDoX vs. EnterpriseDoX

Ok, now that you’ve got an idea of some of the top features included in all of our products, let’s get into the differences between MyDoX and EnterpriseDoX.
